As this is possibly one of the most stylish and desirable classic British coupe's ever built, the brief to update and upgrade this 1976 Jaguar XJC v12 was one of most difficult ones.
Every exterior panel on the Jaguar bar the bootlid and doors has been touched. All the side panels and bonnet have been smoothed out by having the chrome trim removed, whilst the wheel arches have been re-profiled to hug the upgraded custom designed wheels. The lip of the arches has also had a larger rolling radii to the edge to help blend in the modifications.

The front and rear bumpers are now integrated into the valances and re-designed to sit closer to the body with chrome added to the top section. Upgraded and chrome edged HID headlights with ring style running lights were added to the front along with modifications to the bonnet and front wing light overhangs. Later XJ rear lights with LED bulbs rePlaced the original units.
A subtle but substantial change to the roof has also been made. The whole roof section is replaced with one from an newer XJ along with it's electric sunroof. The change has altered the roof line giving it a slightly more aggressive look. The chrome roof gutter has also been blended in to an additional chromed a-pillar shroud. Deeper but original looking wing mirrors were added to enable electric adjustments along with updated and enlarged windscreen wipers.
Substantial changes were required by the client on the interior to create the luxury high-end feel and look that we have now created. The overall feel of the interior has been kept in period but upgraded materials and re-styled. The leather dashboard flows neatly down the centre console with chrome detailing. New vents, an Apple-Play head-unit and bespoke instruments were added along with a tweaked Jaguar F-type air-con unit that fits in to the new high-spec wood facia.
New branded floor mats were also designed to match the upgraded interior. The wood panelling was added to the brand new door cards with bespoke handles and mirror contols. Embossed aluminium mouldings were added to the lower centre console with storage and integrated cup holders. The gearstick, gearknob and steering wheel detailing are bespoke to this car. Completely new seats, both front and rear, were designed to mimic the period style but updated with electric controls, blue leather piping and embossed Jaguar headrests. Electric sunroof controls and bespoke inteior lighting was added to a completely new wood panels control panel in the roof with new sun visors.
Mechanically, the car will be fully rebuilt with an upgraded engine, suspension and chromed quadruple exhausts.
